He’s hard to tie down in his musical tastes though: growing up with prog rock in the 70s, picking up bits of folk, Breton Jazz and Klezmer on the way. He has a long standing love of middle-Eastern and Eastern European music and the scales they use. “The most exciting thing about music for me is being able to improvise with others - just to create something wonderful with other people that isthere in that moment, reflecting everything that goes on between them in that space”.
